Main purpose of the job
Identifying markets, turnover and competition development/opportunities, to respond to these and to register information. Manage and grow a designed sales region and exceed Sales Targets profitably. Providing a professional service to the customer, to promote repeat business and long-term business relationships. Organizing and implementing promotional activities.
Organisation
The Country Manager will report directly to the Export Manager and will be part of the Export team.
Responsibilities and core tasks
Preparation of annual planning/budgets, monthly forecasts and monthly action planners in consultation with the Export Manager.
Acting independently in sales of services and products as well as providing after-sales and service of PHC Europe within the area or – accounts; Acting as an expert in selling the products
Preparing a travel planning independently, with approval from the Export Manager.
Visiting prospects and customers
Responsible for organizing and implementing promotional activities
Performing, co-initiating and executing marketing activities in cooperation with the Marketing Manager
Maintaining networks with end users (seminars, etc.), visiting exhibitions
Giving presentations, assisting with technical training, or providing this independently
Providing monthly reports to the Export Manager.
Entering customer details and information, travel reports and particulars in the customer relationship management system
Attend sales meetings to discuss market penetration, product development and strategic positioning of the company and its products in the market
Follow courses, trainings etc... about the PHCEU Biomedical products and competition
Advertisements, mailings and attendance at exhibitions, seminars, road shows and conferences
Objective for the first year
Have a good overview and knowledge of the market within the region
Build a strong relationship with the customers
Has shown a strong drive in the way he / she has managed the territory
Has shown to be able to make good monthly reports and has been able to organize him/herself properly
External contacts
Visit end-users in your region
He / she represent PHC Europe to the customers
Internal contacts
Works closely with the Export Manager and keeps him well informed about the activities to achieve unit / volume goals
Works closely with the Export Team.
Works closely with the European Marketing Team

Candidate profile
Job requirements
The candidate must have at least a higher professional education (e.g. Higher Laboratory Education, Biotechnology, Life Sciences)
Experience in a sales position in the field of the employer is key, commercial skills is a must
Technical knowledge is an advantage
Computer software skills including Microsoft Office, maintaining CRM database, record keeping and planning skills
Candidate interacts and communicates easily on all levels
Candidate can organize himself / herself, sets the right priorities
Energetic, driven, result oriented and capable in building strong relationship and networking
Pioneer and tenacious
Ability to work together in a constructive way with colleagues and customers
Training & education
Onboarding training internal product trainings will be organized. All employees have access to the LinkedIn training platform.
