You will
Prepare, maintain, update, and manage tax working papers for multiple entities, including preparation of continuity and reconciliation schedules
Research and resolve discrepancies between tax balances and accounting balances
Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns, elections, forms and regulatory filings
Prepare responses to inquiries and requests of tax authorities
Be responsible for preparation of tax provision working paper and tax estimate calculations
Assist in performing and documenting tax planning, research and analysis
Assist in corresponding with investors for tax related questions
Assist in designing and implementing tax working papers and improving tax processes
Assist with ad hoc tax or accounting projects

You also have
A professional accounting designation
3-5 years’ experience in a tax-related role
Familiarity with Tax Prep (preferred), or similar tax software
Advanced Excel and Word skills
Strong written and verbal English skills
Real estate tax experience (an asset)
Public practice tax experience (an asset)
Pay range: $100,000 - $125,000, per annum, depending on experience.
This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to extend up to 16 months.
