Job Description
Responsible for trade finance related sales activities, initiatives and revenue targets being assigned.
Partner closely with client-facing teammates to consult on trade sale opportunities and provide product expertise and consultation necessary to deliver solutions to existing and newly identified Transaction Banking clients. Viewed as an advisor and subject matter expert that adds value to the client relationship from trade perspective. Prepare client calling plan to identify wallet size and opportunities. Respond to request for proposal and presentations.
Focus on developing opportunities around Open Account trade solutions (Financial Supply Chain Management), with solid understanding of working capital management cycle along client’s eco-system (import and export). Work closely with coverage team to identify anchor prospects and spokes relationships, provide advisory insights and pitch relevant solutions (domestic and cross-border) to generate sales results.
Establish and maintain existing and prospect TB client relationships. Work closely with Relationship Managers and understands the bank’s directives, internal procedure, and process to ensure that trade facilities granted are well structured, efficiently established and actively utilized to meet annual targets being assigned.
Coordinate and work closely with internal relevant business partners and stakeholders to ensure client’s requirements are timely addressed or met from inception of relationship.
Develop and maintain sales materials and keep current of product knowledge. Rapidly adapting to changes and challenges in the market.
Monitor client revenue trend regularly to ensure any short fall in revenue targets is managed through active sales/client management process.
