The College of Long Term Care is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Virtual Exam Proctor to support our nursing certification program in Skin, Wound, and Ostomy Care. This role is responsible for administering and monitoring examinations to ensure compliance with testing protocols, maintaining exam integrity, and providing a smooth and supportive experience for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Proctor virtual certification exams in accordance with established policies and procedures
Verify student identity and ensure compliance with exam rules prior to and during testing
Monitor examinees in real time via video conferencing platforms to maintain exam integrity
Address technical issues or escalate concerns as needed during exam sessions
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or violations of testing protocols
Provide clear instructions and support to students before and during exams
Coordinate exam schedules and communicate logistics with students and internal staff
Maintain confidentiality of exam materials and participant information
Qualifications:
Prior experience in exam proctoring, education, or administrative support preferred
Familiarity with Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Forms, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce policies consistently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple participants in a structured virtual environment
High level of professionalism and discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare education or working with nursing professionals
Understanding of certification or continuing education programs
Basic troubleshooting skills for common technical issues
Work Environment & Schedule:
Fully remote position
Must be available to work scheduled exam sessions, which may include evenings or occasional weekends Reliable internet connection and quiet, professional workspace required
