Those in corporate law at PwC will provide legal advice and support to clients on various corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance. You will leverage experience in corporate law and the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks.

This is an important role on the Privacy & Data OGC (Office of the General Counsel) team, where you will play a key role in protecting the firm while enabling the business. As part of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, revising and negotiating privacy and data protection terms in a large variety of commercial contracts entered into by the firm, including consulting services agreements, master services agreements, engagement letters, statements of work, joint business relationship agreements, supplier agreements, and other types of agreements. The role requires subject matter expertise in US and European data privacy and protection laws (e.g., the European General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act), and experience with negotiating contract terms in this area. The role will also involve advising internal stakeholders on a variety of data protection and privacy matters, including with respect to regulatory compliance, response to data and cybersecurity related issues. Importantly, this team member will work with our clients directly in contract discussions, as well as with our internal business clients and other internal subject matter experts. Strong communication and advocacy skills are important, as well as a demonstrated ability to problem solve.
