The Compliance area is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the AML/CTF (LAFT) risk management framework of the company. As we build a financial institution from the ground up, this area plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, protecting the company from financial crime risks, and enabling sustainable and responsible growth aligned with supervisory expectations. Challenges that await you:
Co-build and scale a data-driven Compliance framework from the ground up within a fast-growing fintech environment.
Support and lead SARLAFT compliance monitoring and risk assessments to identify, prevent, and mitigate money laundering and terrorist financing risks across business operations.
Conduct customer and third-party due diligence (KYC/CDD), transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity investigations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Support regulatory audits, reporting processes, and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate documentation, preparing risk reports, and strengthening AML/SARLAFT controls and governance frameworks.
Design, implement, and continuously enhance data segmentation models, information classification systems, and compliance risk methodologies to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
Analyze data to identify risk patterns, operational inefficiencies, and automation opportunities that optimize Compliance processes and strengthen monitoring capabilities.
Balance strong regulatory requirements with scalable, efficient, and data-driven operational processes in a high-growth environment.
Adapt quickly to evolving regulatory landscapes by translating regulatory expectations into structured frameworks, policies, controls, and data governance practices.
Thrive in dynamic environments with incomplete, dispersed, or rapidly evolving data sources while contributing to the development of scalable compliance infrastructures.
Manage ambiguity while maintaining high standards of data governance, traceability, documentation, and regulatory readiness.
