Bridge House – Sobering Up Unit (WA)
SCHADS Level 3
Every shift you work at Bridge House has the power to change someone’s day — and sometimes their life. Our Sobering Up Unit supports people at their most vulnerable, offering safety, dignity and calm when they need it most. As a Support Worker, you become a steady, compassionate presence in moments that truly matter. If you’re someone who shows up with heart, steadiness and respect, this is a place where your impact is felt immediately.
As a casual Support Worker, you will support participants under the influence of alcohol and other drugs (AOD) by monitoring their wellbeing, responding to immediate needs, and maintaining a safe, structured and caring environment. You will conduct regular checks, support participants through withdrawal, manage challenging behaviours with confidence and empathy, and ensure clear communication and documentation across the team. This is a 24‑hour service where your calm, grounded presence makes a real difference.
This casual position is based at the Bridge House Sobering Up Unit, reporting to the Team Leader Support Services. Pay is in accordance with a SCHADS Level 3. Shifts are negotiated based on business needs and staff availability.
