SWBC is seeking a talented individual to lead and grow a mortgage branch operating within a builder-aligned and/or joint venture (JV) environment. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and oversight of branch operations while also personally originating residential mortgage loans to achieve individual and branch production goals.
This position plays a critical role in promoting a high-performance sales and service culture, supporting builder and partner relationships, and ensuring full compliance with all applicable mortgage, RESPA/consumer protection, and company policies. The Producing Branch Manager delivers a superior customer experience while driving referral-based and partner-supported production in a controlled, compliant manner.

In this role, you will manage a primary mortgage branch and, as applicable, one or more satellite locations supporting builder or JV-sourced business. You will be responsible for both branch performance and personal production, operating at the intersection of sales leadership, partner engagement, and operational discipline. Success in this role requires the ability to motivate and coach a small, focused team; personally produce mortgage loans aligned with branch and JV objectives; maintain exceptional customer service; and navigate the unique compliance considerations of builder and joint-venture mortgage models.
Essential duties include the following:
Manages the staff and activities involved in the day-to-day administration of a mortgage lending branch supporting builder and/or joint-venture production.
Ensures compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and all applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
Maintains appropriate staffing levels and workflows to meet customer service and production expectations.
Oversees work schedules, conducts performance evaluations, and provides coaching, counseling, and corrective action as needed.
Resolves personnel-related issues in a professional and policy-compliant manner.
Develops and implements branch-level mortgage sales and profitability plans with emphasis on builder-supported and partner-referred business.
Responsible for producing personal loan volume at or above established target expectations.
Supports and strengthens relationships with builder and JV partners through consistent communication and service delivery.
Promotes referral and relationship-based business while ensuring full adherence to RESPA, advertising, and affiliate relationship requirements.
Oversees branch financial performance, expense awareness, and productivity metrics.
