Associate Lecturer - Data Analytics Sys & Processes

This module covers what data analytics is, why it is valuable, what resources are needed to support data analytics and how data analytics is applied. It illustrates four key types of analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics), provides understanding on the process of data analytics, shows how data analytics can benefit business decisions, identifies common challenges that can be addressed by data analytics and describes the use of data analytics tools.

Job Description:

1. Facilitate students’ learning and discussion forum on the online platform

2. Conduct weekly virtual lecture or workshop

3. Write assessment brief with detailed analytic marking rubrics

4. Grade and provide feedback on assignments submitted by students

5. Participate in teaching team or assessment meetings

6. Respond to student’s enquiries in a timely manner

7. Provide learning support through individual or small group consultation

8. Prepare marking samples and module report with analysis of student performance

Job requirement:

• A PHD or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university - At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level - 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage
