Silgan Closures, a Fortune 500 global manufacturer and leader in sustainable packaging, is hiring a Maintenance Technician I / Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Champaign, Illinois, manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for an experienced industrial maintenance mechanic with hands-on expertise supporting high‑speed injection molding and compression molding equipment in a manufacturing environment.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting the production of closures used by major food and beverage brands. Join a stable, long-term employer that prioritizes safety, innovation, and employee growth.
What We Offer:
Hourly pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift differential: +$1.00 per hour for night shift
Shift: 12-hour night shift, 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: 2‑2‑3 rotation with every other weekend off (Friday–Sunday)
Sign-on bonus: $1,500
