THE OPPORTUNITY
You may already be working in a 2IC or senior role, or you could be a dairy farm assistant ready to take the next step into leadership. If you’ve had experience guiding and supporting a team, this Production Manager (2IC) opportunity at Victory Dairy could be a great next move.
You’ll be part of a supportive, down‑to‑earth team and work closely with a Farm Manager who is open and clear, and who takes the time to explain decisions, so everyone understands what’s happening.
You’ll help put farm plans into action and take responsibility for areas like feed allocation, animal health, breeding, and keeping farm records up to date. You’ll also be happy to pitch in and support the team where needed.
On the Farm Manager’s days off, you’ll step up and take responsibility for the team, making sure the day runs smoothly.

THE FARM
Victory Dairy is a large-scale, well-run operation milking 950 cows through a 54-bail rotary shed twice a day. It’s a busy farm with plenty of variety, making it a great place to build your skills, grow your confidence, and take the next step in your dairy career.
You’ll be joining a farm with a supportive manager and a team that takes pride in high standards of animal health, farm management, and overall performance. Victory Dairy supplies A2 milk and is located within easy reach of Taupō, giving you the option to enjoy farm living while still being close to great schools, shops, cafes, outdoor activities, and everything the Taupō lifestyle has to offer.
ABOUT YOU
You are self-motivated and passionate about dairy farming, wanting to grow your career and develop your leadership skills.
You will have:
Experience guiding and supporting teams
Proven dairy experience in grazing and animal health
A commitment to individual and team development
Pasture management and feed planning skills
High standards of animal welfare and commitment to health and safety
Current and full NZ driver’s licence
Experience driving farm machinery/tractors
