The Product Propositions Assistant Manager develops customer-led propositions and drives product launches that meet both customer and distribution needs—while ensuring strong market competitiveness. This role goes beyond product development. It is about creating propositions that truly resonate with customers and stand out in the market. The ideal candidate brings a strong consumer-centric mindset, takes ownership in driving initiatives, influences stakeholders effectively, and demonstrates creativity, innovation.
THE JOB:
Implement customer/market research and conduct distribution surveys to understand insights on the demand of customers/distribution and validate proposition concepts/design.
Lead product proposition design process: collaborating with internal & external stakeholders to ensuring the propositions are unique and relevant for customers, distribution channels & company strategy, product are approved by Product Management Committee.
Lead integrated product launch plan: developing training materials & conduct training to trainers, developing product story & design product collaterals, integrating product launch plan with distribution & MKT.
Strengthen product marketability and relevancy through positioning/packaging, product customization for channels, product promotions, added-value services.
Conduct post-launch product reviews to further analyze customer/distribution satisfaction, market competitiveness, identify areas for product improvement.
Proactively address multiple product requests from channels and partners on a timely basis.
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities for new product offerings and enhancements.
Other tasks as assigned by line manager.
THE PERSON:
University Degree in a business-related discipline
At least 3 years working experience in product development, product marketing for financial service industry or similar experiences in a well-known research organization
An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
Innovative and willing to explore new things
Able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business
Energetic and passionate about their product speciality
Able to work well under pressure
Fluently in speaking and writing English and Vietnamese
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners
Strong organizational and project/time management skills
Solid problem-solving capabilities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and work effectively with numbers
Understanding life insurance operations and technical concepts is an advantage
