DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
Our Architects are strategic, driven, and customer-obsessed. They work collaboratively across all levels of our business to add value throughout our customers’ engagements.
As a Solutions Architect at NEXTGEN Group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that meet the needs of our partners and their customers. You will work closely with our sales team, vendor channel, and partners to understand the client's requirements, design a solution that meets their needs, and implement the solution. You will also be responsible for providing ongoing support and enablement to the channel partners.
As the Senior Solutions Architect, you will:
Provide technical pre-sales support to sales teams and channel partners.
Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of cybersecurity solutions.
From time to time you may be required to assume additional responsibilities other than those specified above.
Design and architect security solutions to meet customer requirements.
Collaborate with vendors to provide technical support and training to partners.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Contribute to the development of marketing materials and technical documentation.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to partners and customers.
Participate in industry events and conferences.
Lead Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) in customer environments.
Present at webinars and partner/vendor events.
Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs.
Prepare and deliver scheduled Training for Fortinet.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Senior Solutions Architect:
Be naturally curious with a love of technology with a desire to stay abreast of new concepts within next-generation cyber and data resilience vendors and products.
A self-starting attitude, be technology agnostic, able to understand all facets of the cyber and data resilience portfolio without bias to comfortable products.
A strong capability to enable our channel partner community in our vendor's products and services, including the planning and delivery of technical product training on behalf and in conjunction with our vendor.
Can contribute to best practices for presentations, demos, and Proof of Concept/Value exercises as well as overall win strategy.
Can understand complex technical problems and work to progress discussions on a partner's behalf with the vendor engineering teams.
Support our senior-level stakeholders, key account directors, and vendor managers to demonstrate the capabilities of our products to our partner community.
Can quickly learn to deploy, enable, and demonstrate NEXTGEN’s vendor technologies into our world class CyberLAB.
Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand cyber security requirements, Government policies, frameworks and industry regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work unsupervised.
3 - 5 years of solid industry experience either as a vendor or channel partner specializing in cyber security and/or data resilience.
In-depth knowledge of the cyber and data resilience landscape, frameworks, government regulatory authorities, threat landscapes, and best-of-breed software used to combat threat actors.
Experience in business, system architecture principles, architecture patterns, processes, and frameworks.
Proven/prior hands-on experience with information security solutions such as IdP, DLP, Micro-segmentation, WAF, Email, SIEM technologies and public cloud.
Desirable:
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
Experience with specific security vendors and technologies relevant to our portfolio.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Experience working with channel partners and reseller.
