

Job Description:
Salary: $53-55,000/year

Scope of Position: Provide leadership and direction for all WIOA, SNAP E&T, and TANF case management staff. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
Essential Functions:
Work with the Manager of Workforce Programs to ensure that staff and program resources are used appropriately and that contractual goals are met
Supervise SNAP E&T and TANF program staff
Establish professional working relationships to develop community support
Strong community awareness of Leon, Wakulla, and Gadsden counties
Maintain accurate participant tracking information
Collaborate with Training Coordinator and Business Services Lead to maximize customer work-based learning opportunities
Attend required meetings and communicate issues with staff
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness; recommend and implement modifications to improve program effectiveness
Travel between all Career Centers as necessary
Assist the Manager of Workforce Programs in creating programmatic policies, procedures, and forms
Assist the Manager of Workforce Programs and Performance Analyst in analyzing performance reports and making necessary improvements to meet goals as negotiated with the State
Assist the Manager of Workforce Programs in reviewing internal monitoring reports conducted by CSCR, train staff, and ensure ongoing compliance
Track, monitor, and routinely review staff performance
Utilize positive communication techniques to resolve issues
Maintain compliance with CSCR policies and procedures including personnel policies
Recommendation of hiring and termination of staff
Maintain current knowledge of state and local guidelines and regulations

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human services, or related area is preferred
Must have 1-3 years of business, training, teaching or sales experience
Knowledge and understanding of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
Working knowledge of MS Office products
Previous project management experience desired
Should be able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
Valid driver’s license
Florida Workforce Professional Certification Tier I required (must be completed within 30 days of employment)
