Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate and highly motivated Duty Manager to join Janu Tokyo. This role is ideal for a dynamic hospitality professional who thrives in a modern luxury environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As Duty Manager you will oversee daily front‑of‑house operations and ensure service excellence and support the Front Office leadership team and act as the hotel’s key operational contact during your shift. You will play a vital role in maintaining Janu’s elevated service standards and guiding and developing the front desk team and creating an atmosphere that reflects Janu’s spirit of connection and energy and contemporary luxury.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily Front Desk operations to ensure seamless check‑in and check‑out and guest services and overall service flow in accordance with Janu standards
Act as the primary operational leader during assigned shifts and ensure smooth coordination between departments
Support and mentor and supervise the Front Desk team to maintain high service quality and productivity and guest satisfaction
Handle guest inquiries and special requests and feedback and complaints with professionalism and effective resolution
Ensure accurate cash handling and billing procedures and compliance with hotel policies
Assist with training and coaching and performance development of Front Desk agents and supervisors and shift leaders
