The role will be based from our Australian Support office in Canberra, ACT.
About the Role
As Retail Finance BP you will work closely with our Trek owned Retail Stores focusing on:
Reporting and Forecasting;
Own financial management for Trek owned Retail Stores including month-end close and balance sheet integrity
Timely and accurate monthly profit and loss balance sheet reporting
Maintain ownership of key balance sheets
Contribute to rolling forecasts and annual budgets
Financial controls and Processes
Ensure strong financial controls are embedded
Partner with Store Managers to resolve issues
Identify process improvement opportunities
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, audit and accounting standards
Business Partnering and Support
Be the primary finance partner to coach Retail Store Managers
Lead regular performance reviews with Store Manager
Proactively identify risks and opportunities across revenue, margin, labour, and operating costs

What We’re Looking For
We are on the lookout for someone to join our team with:
Tertiary qualifications in accounting
CA/CPA qualification (or desire to work towards this)
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience
Demonstrates the ability to deliver quality hospitality with proactive and positive communication
Collaborative team player, proactive problem solver and have highly developed analytical skills with the ability to extract data from financial systems and provide insights and recommendations
Strong MS office skills
