WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As the Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll work as part of a talented team of GAM to deliver web applications and services. We are looking for top notch software engineers who are great team players and obsessive about the quality of their code and delivered service. You’ll have the opportunity to grow and expand your capabilities within the RBC development community as learning and knowledge sharing will be second nature while applying your technical know-how to ensure that RBC is on the leading edge of development practices.
Backed by the might of our teams, you’ll have the tools and resources needed to achieve extraordinary results that render a significant impact extending beyond the boundaries of traditional engineering roles. If you’re a strong technical professional with proven experience evaluating industry best-of-class technical approaches—we have a spot for you on our team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
You will be creating new services using the latest technologies which will shape the future for RBC GAM Digital Team.
Collaborate with other developers on the team to model and design new API interfaces
Develop and support highly scalable, high-performance APIs.
Ensure high code quality through automated unit and functional testing
Automate processes within the development pipeline; identify opportunities for efficiency gains and reducing time-to-market, and enabling continuous delivery
Design and develop code structures to promote reusability across many applications
Work within a talented team comprised of technical, product and business team members to deliver exceptional products.
Stay open-minded and look beyond your stack to solve complex problems
You will actively seek out knowledge about new technologies and how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges
Excellent communication including the ability to distill technical details into human terms
