Key responsibilities

As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the following day-to-day activities:

Assist in delivering high-quality audit and other assurance services to clients across a range of industries.
Identify, evaluate and clearly communicate accounting and auditing matters to engagement partners.
Proactively identify opportunities for performance improvement, both within engagements and internal processes.
Liaise with clients to ensure efficient, timely and accurate information flow between the client and the audit team.
Support engagement planning, including the preparation of audit budgets, plans, proposals and client presentations.
Supervise, coach and provide constructive feedback to junior team members, supporting their professional development.
Support business development activities with Chinese client including marketing events, client pursuit and proposal coordination etc.

Qualifications and requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or a related discipline.
Minimum of 6 years’ external audit experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Business-professional proficiency in spoken and written Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
