The Security Coordinator performs all duties of a Sr. Security Officer and additionally coordinates the security dispatch function. This role is responsible for ensuring a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors by guarding and securing designated entrances/exits, patrolling the facility, and monitoring flow to reduce loitering. The Security Coordinator staffs the main desk to provide information and direction, monitors fire alarm control panels to assist with emergency instructions, and conducts initial investigations of incidents.
