Position Summary
The Tax Manager, EMEA, will be responsible for the overseeing all income tax issues related to Europe. The focus will be on tax compliance, tax provision, transfer pricing and tax planning. The job requires working with the US tax team, the LATAM and APAC tax Managers, Accounting, Treasury, Operations and Legal. On a daily basis, the role involves advising regional finance teams, coordinating with external advisors, and managing deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
The Tax Manager will act as the key escalation point for technical issues, support audits and enquiries, monitor legislative developments, and ensure consistent application of Group tax policies while maintaining strong controls and governance within the region.
This posistion will report to the Senior Director, International Tax based in the United States.
This is an ideal role for a commercially minded, in‑house tax professional who enjoys working closely with the business, taking ownership of EMEA tax matters, and balancing technical rigour with practical, solutions‑focused advice.

Key Responsibilities
Lead tax compliance and reporting across EMEA, ensuring accurate tax provisions, financial reporting inputs, and year-end reconciliations
Oversee preparation and review of corporate tax filings including CIT, transfer pricing, CbCR, and Pillar II requirements
Drive consistency in tax compliance and planning across EMEA entities in line with global tax policies
Ensure robust tax accounting under US GAAP and IFRS, with clear documentation and full audit support
Stay ahead of international and regional tax developments, translating legislative changes into practical business impact
Provide commercially focused tax advice on business initiatives, contracts, and restructuring projects
Partner with finance and operations teams to deliver tax-efficient solutions aligned to business goals
Support and strengthen tax governance across EMEA, ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and controls
Act as a key point of contact for tax audits and enquiries, coordinating responses across multiple jurisdictions
Manage relationships with external advisors and auditors to minimise risk and ensure efficient audit delivery
Contribute to internal tax reviews and regulatory compliance activities across the region
Collaborate with regional finance leaders, controllers, Group Tax, Legal, and external partners
Play a key role in global and regional tax projects, including Pillar II implementation and process improvements
Manage competing deadlines across multiple jurisdictions in a fast-paced, listed environment
Review and guide work delivered by junior team members, shared services, and regional finance teams
Act as a trusted technical tax advisor to stakeholders across EMEA
Champion best practices, driving consistency and continuous improvement in tax processes across the region
Essential
Strong working knowledge of tax accounting under IFRS
Experience of international tax and corporate income tax preparation, ideally with EMEA exposure
Exposure to Pillar II, transfer pricing, and/or CbCR highly desirable
Professionally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CTA)
Desirable
Previous in‑house tax experience within a multinational organisation
Experience supporting EMEA jurisdictions across multiple countries
Exposure to Pillar II, CbCR, or transfer pricing compliance
Familiarity with tax audits and enquiries in international environments
Experience working in a US‑headquartered or listed business
Understanding of SOX controls or tax governance frameworks
Ability to partner effectively with regional finance and non‑finance stakeholders
Practice background (Big 4 or mid‑tier) with a move into industry
