Be part of the R&D team to design and develop the future HP Inkjet printers that is robust, reliable and deliver high speed & exceptional quality printout at world class cost structure.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand the customer needs and align on product specifications and development needs to meet the customer requirements.
Lead the design process to innovate printing architecture and design to meet the product specifications.
Develop and analyze mathematical models of printing system to optimize performance.
Execute design implementation and validation through performance characterization, system bring-up, and reliability testing, using data-driven approaches.
Lead root cause analysis of system-level issues, including HW defects, algorithm limitations, and SW/firmware interactions, to deliver robust corrective actions.
Work closely with global teams to debug, optimize, and tune system performance.
Support project execution and delivery. Define detailed objectives, schedule, technical milestone and deliverables.
Close partnership with R&D, quality, marketing, qualification and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in in Engineering or Science (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Physics or related fields).
Fresh graduates with an interest in color science and imaging are welcome.
High degree of creativity, with an analytical, innovative, and problem-solving mindset.
Strong fundamental knowledge in mechanics, dynamics, fluidics, physics and with software/programming capability.
Knowledge of Python (image processing, data crunching) preferred.
Knowledge of computer vision, color science, imaging techniques is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail, well-organized and naturally curious to drive industry innovation.
Strong interest and commitment to an R&D & Innovation, with a growth mindset.
