The Middle East Regional DT Leader (Sr Staff Technical Program Manager) will be responsible for leading the Information Technology (DT) function at our plants in Middle East. This role will collaborate closely with plant leadership, regional and Global IT teams to align technology initiatives and business objectives, and to drive continuous improvement. This role will be representing DT for the plants in the Middle East but also be the voice of the business for sites in the region to Global DT leadership. This role will be responsible for ensuring continuous DT operations for the sites in the region and provide local support to the plants when needed. Additionally, the role requires leading projects, managing deployments, and assisting in DT roadmaps and strategy for the region.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Act as a safety champion of all DT employees that are co-located with the Gas Power sites in the region
Support day to day DT operations for the plants in the region
Work with other Site DT Leaders and promote standardization across supply chain sites
Coordinate work of internal and vendor resources maintaining operations and executing various projects.
Coordinate allocation of technical resources at the plants.
Support execution teams with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
Partner with local technical and functional teams to ensure sufficient support and engagement
Work to meet key performance indicators, milestones, and report out status of initiatives.
Track and monitor operations performance and project status and metrics to ensure milestones are met, and internal and external delivery commitments are met.
Promote the partnership between DT and the site.
Work with other DT functional teams such as CTO, Cyber, ERP, etc.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities and translate them into actionable DT solutions
Budget planning and monitoring for regional DT projects and initiatives
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in DT and digital solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and user experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field from an accredited university or college
At least 2 years experience working with Shop floor applications such as MES, CMMS/EAM, SCADA/HMI, etc.
Minimum 10 years of professional work experience

Desired Characteristics
Strong track record of business integration, ERP deployments, MES implementations, infrastructure support, and shop floor systems support.
Fluency in English and Arabic
Demonstrated experience leading process improvements leveraging Lean manufacturing and Lean concepts.
Experience working with the Supply Chain team and current DT solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
