What you will do:

As a Senior Industrial Systems Designer, you will design, develop and document advanced plant systems for Electra’s pilot and industrial-scale operations. This position focuses on integrating robust, cost-effective mechanical systems that support efficient plant performance and long service life.

Responsibilities include:

Design and continuously improve industrial systems and plant layouts using 3D modeling software based on defined design parameters, functional requirements, and equipment lists
Integrate OEM and supplier components and equipment into complete mechanical and process systems
Create and maintain designs for process equipment, skid-mounted systems, tanks, piping, and vessels, including structural, mechanical, instrumentation, and automation documentation packages
Create and maintain pilot plant processing system designs and full documentation packages (mechanical, process, instrumentation, and automation)
Coordinate with process and controls engineers, with equipment suppliers and with contractors during installation, startup and commissioning of equipment and systems for Electra’s plants at various locations. Review installation and follow up on action items to correct deficiencies
