Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities for Indonesia and Thailand entities.
Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and company policies.
Support regional and global reporting requirements, including management reporting and variance analysis.
Coordinate with shared services and external accounting providers where applicable.
Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation schedules.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely recording and reconciliation.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other statutory tax obligations in Indonesia and Thailand.
Prepare tax reconciliations and support tax provisioning activities.
Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors, and tax authorities regarding audits, assessments, and inquiries.
Monitor changes in local tax regulations and assess impacts on business operations.
Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany tax compliance.
Identify tax risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal control policies.
Assist in implementing and maintaining finance SOPs and process controls.
Participate in compliance reviews and risk assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, Procurement, and Regional Finance.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes from an accounting and tax perspective.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation, and reporting accuracy.
Provide guidance to junior finance team members where necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or Brevet A/B/C is an advantage.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax.
Experience handling Indonesia and/or Thailand tax and accounting regulations.
Experience in multinational companies or professional services environment preferred.
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax compliance requirements.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia and/or Thai language is an advantage.
