The Superintendent provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our Clients. This includes quality maintenance, Client satisfaction, quality and timely service and personal attention to our Clients. The Superintendent responds to our Clients service request and is instrumental in helping Cushman and Wakefield deliver superior customer service to our Clients.
Job Description
Commercial Superintendent Job Description:
• Inspects facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type and number of operation and maintenance personnel needed. Knowledge of general construction, HVAC/BMS/Boiler systems etc.
• Prioritizes work to ensure building occupants’ needs are met in a timely fashion and assigns work requests to
appropriate personnel to perform required maintenance, servicing and repairs. May also perform some repairs
and servicing.
• May conduct the hiring of building support staff. Conducts training on maintenance, safety, equipment and
systems.
• May directly or indirectly supervise vendors, both skilled (plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, mechanical,
maintenance) and unskilled staff (cleaning, moving, dispatch, security) and assign them to perform facility/building
and site maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and servicing.
• Develops, implements, and oversees a preventive maintenance program for all facilities and equipment.
• Coordinates, oversees, and directs vendors and contractors performing servicing, repairs, and construction on
site.
• Visits with building occupants to ensure that their needs are met and solicits suggestions for improvements.
• Compiles records of labor and material cost for operating building and issues cost reports to owner or managing

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $34.00 - $40.00
