Job Description:
Professionally and flexibly meets system needs and timelines, through pick-up/loading and unloading/delivery of business concerns between facilities, primarily from the local distribution centers. Responsible for the safe and clean operation of box trucks and other delivery vehicles with a capacity of less than 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, routine fueling, and bringing all maintenance or repair requests to the attention of leadership.Education: ▪ Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: ▪ No prior experience required Skills: ▪ Effective and appropriate communication with customers and coworkers. ▪ Ability to drive the vehicle safely. ▪ Basic knowledge & understanding of vehicle maintenance and care requirements. ▪ Acceptable driving record, as reviewed by Risk Management ▪ Basic knowledge & understanding of safe powered pallet jack operation. ▪ Basic knowledge & understanding of box truck loading and unloading procedures, including securing loads and their safe transportation. Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Required: MO Class E Driver License
