Description

ZaaS, or Zen as a Service, is a B Corp company offering corporate wellness programs focused on improving employee well-being through yoga, meditation, and fitness classes. They believe in an inclusive approach, providing diverse class options and bilingual instructors to cater to a global workforce. ZaaS goes beyond simply offering classes; they also provide strategic support and customized dashboards to help companies implement and track their wellness programs effectively.

ZaaS was founded by Maryam Sharifzadeh, a workplace well-being expert with a passion for yoga and a background in business. She saw the positive impact yoga could have on company culture and developed Office Yoga, a nationwide corporate yoga program. ZaaS evolved from Office Yoga to offer a more comprehensive approach to well-being, incorporating a wider range of classes and services. ZaaS is committed to making a positive impact, not only on the lives of employees but also on the planet through their Teach One, Feed One program, where they donate a meal to a child in need for every class they teach.

Flexibility

ZaaS offers flexible work arrangements, allowing employees to manage their time effectively and achieve a healthy work-life balance. While in-office work fosters organic connections and 'loose ties', the company embraces remote and hybrid work models. To ensure a structured balance, they encourage employees to come into the office two days a week, with Wednesdays being mandatory and Tuesdays or Thursdays optional, allowing for personal preference and optimized productivity.
