The Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism (EDI-R) works to disrupt systemic oppression and lead transformative culture change. They aim to build, incubate, and enhance EDI-R competency and capacity across campus by identifying and interrupting institutional barriers and embedding equity within policies, processes, environments, and experiences at the University. The EDI-R office fosters collaboration across campus by partnering with the Waterloo Undergraduate Students Association (WUSA) and the Glow Centre to expand all-gender washroom options and create a more welcoming and accessible campus for all.
