The Center addresses the issue of gender and racial representation in entrepreneurship by actively recruiting diverse participants for its programs, placing women and people of color in leadership roles, tracking demographic gaps, and training judges and participants to identify and address unconscious bias. Additionally, the Center is developing partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to provide a platform for innovators and entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities.
