Newton Venture Program

Newton Venture Program is an organization dedicated to creating a more inclusive and diverse venture capital ecosystem. They offer various learning and development programs for aspiring and practising venture capitalists, with a focus on bridging the knowledge gap and supporting individuals from typically overlooked backgrounds. Newton is a joint venture between Phoenix Court (LocalGlobe VC) and London Business School, with founding partner HSBC Innovation Banking, bringing together expert faculty and industry practitioners to provide high-quality training.

Newton offers a range of programs, including free independent-learning courses, online cohort-based programs, and in-person cohort-based programs. Their programs cover a variety of topics related to venture capital, such as deal sourcing, due diligence, valuations, negotiations, and fundraising. Newton Venture Program offers a variety of programs that cater to different learning styles and schedules. The Fundamentals program is entirely online, delivered via weekly interactive sessions on Wednesday evenings, making it accessible to those with busy schedules. The Fellowship program, on the other hand, is delivered in-person over a six-month period with three intensive modules spread across October 2024, January, and April 2025. Both programs include virtual components, such as coaching sessions and applied learning exercises, which can be completed at the participant's own pace and convenience.
