Supports the Fire Safety Inspector in conducting fire extinguisher inspections, assisting with fire safety compliance activities, and promoting a safe campus environment.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Fire Extinguisher Inspection:
Assist in monthly inspections of fire extinguishers in non-residential campus buildings.
Check for proper placement, accessibility, and signage.
Verify inspection tags are up to date and properly documented.
Report missing, damaged, or discharged extinguishers.
Help maintain inspection logs and digital records.
Assist with identifying fire hazards.
Qualifications:
Frequent walking, climbing stairs, and accessing various campus facilities
Occasional lifting, bending, and carrying of equipment.
Fire extinguisher inspection procedures.
Basic fire safety and hazard recognition.
Campus safety protocols and compliance standards.
