Summary of the Role
Responsible for driving sales growth and market development of infusion pumps and smart pump solutions within assigned hospitals in the Jabodetabek region. This role focuses on a solution-based selling approach that integrates devices, consumables, and services. Key objectives include achieving sales targets, managing project and tender processes, and building sustainable professional relationships with clinicians, hospital management, and distributors.
Key Functions / Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Drive sales achievement for Infusion Pump / Syringe Pump / Smart Pump portfolio in assigned Jakarta hospitals.
Develop and execute territory business plans in line with MMG strategy and annual targets.
Identify new project opportunities including ICU, NICU/PICU, Chemotherapy, and High Care Units.
Manage both project-based and recurring business (devices, pump sets, accessories, service).
2. Account & Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders: Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Biomedical Engineers, Procurement, Finance, and Hospital Management
Act as the main point of contact for pump-related discussions and solution proposals.
Collaborate closely with distributors to ensure effective execution at account level.
3. Solution & Value Selling
Promote total solution concepts (pump + consumables + monitoring / service).
Shift customer discussion from price-based selection to clinical value, safety, and efficiency.
Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, and clinical in-services in hospitals.
4. Project & Tender Management
Manage pump projects including trials, evaluations, and tender processes.
Coordinate internal stakeholders (clinical support, service, marketing) during project execution.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
5. Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts in CRM systems.
Provide regular updates on pipeline, project status, and market insights.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations.
Functional / Technical Skills
3-5 years’ experience in medical device sales.
Strong understanding of hospital workflow and clinical environment.
Proven ability in value-based and solution selling.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills for territory planning and opportunity assessment.
Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Other Requirements:
Willing to travel within Jakarta and surrounding areas.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
English proficiency is an advantage.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or Business.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in medical device sales, preferably in: Infusion Pumps / Medical Devices / ICU-related products
Experience handling hospital projects or tenders is an advantage.
