What the Role Entails
As the Center of Expertise (COE) for Employee Relations Operations, you will be responsible for the standardization, optimization, and governance of employment lifecycle processes across Shared Service Centers (SSCs) in three regions (APAC, EMEA, and AMER) spanning 20+ countries. By leading cross-functional collaboration with Data Privacy, Compliance, and HRIS teams, you will ensure the accuracy and consistency of global employment rules, systems, and data, while enhancing operational quality, efficiency, and employee experience.
1. Process & Rule Governance Center
- Capability Building: Collect, organize, interpret, and empower global core employment rules, including but not limited to contract types, terms, probation periods, notice periods, and statutory compensation. Establish and maintain a unified global rule repository.
- Operational Optimization: Optimize end-to-end employment-related processes and systems (primarily Workday), including templates, content, generation, and signing workflows for contracts, offer letters, amendment letters, and various certificates. Continuously refine related roles, activities, operational guidelines, and FAQs.
- Data Governance: Act as the primary owner of SSC employment-related data, define data rules, lead data quality checks and error correction cycles, and ensure global consistency of employee master data and job data across HRIS and payroll systems.
2. Operational Excellence & Quality Monitoring
- Enhance Operational Quality: Design and implement operational quality inspection mechanisms (e.g., AI-based document review, sampling checks). Conduct accuracy audits on historical and real-time generated employment documents, lead case reviews, and drive root cause resolution.
- Efficiency Improve & Experience: Explore and promote automated and intelligent content generation features to minimize manual errors. Optimize employee self-service for certificates and other key services to elevate the employee experience.
- System & Compliance Synergy: Collaborate closely with Legal, HRIS, and Privacy teams to internalize external legal and regulatory requirements into internal system configurations and management rules, ensuring global operational compliance.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
- Partner with TA C&B teams to ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance to contract generation.
