THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
Corporate Clients is looking for a Relationship Manager to join the Energy, Industrials and TMT team based out of Triton Square, London.
This role is on a fixed term contract for 12 months - maternity cover.
As the Relationship Manager you work within the Corporate Clients team working on a portfolio of clients, supporting the Relationship Director in meeting KPIs as defined their job title accountabilities. Where applicable, assists with documentation and the drawdown process, working with internal and external stakeholders.
We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
Supporting a Relationship Director with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients which include lending relationships.
Supporting Relationship Directors and deal teams with new business opportunities with existing clients and new to bank prospects.
Supporting Relationship Directors with all aspects of credit applications for new and existing clients
Demonstrating a client-focused approach to deliver day to day operational solutions for existing and new clients, working collaboratively with other areas of San UK to achieve this.
Working collaboratively within Relationship Manager community to aid training, development and sharing best practice
Building and growing an internal and external network of clients, key business introducers, and stakeholders

Professional Experience:
A great understanding of banking products and services including transactional banking and deposit products (Required)
Extensive experience in a customer facing relationship manager role within Corporate Banking (Required)
Experience of the Corporate and Commercial Banking Market (Required)
Well-developed skills in assessing risk of clients notably financial crime and credit risk (Required)
Understands Anti-Money Laundering requirements related to Corporate Clients (Preferred)
Understands corporate risk and risk rating models (Preferred)
Working towards a relevant Financial Services qualification (Preferred)
Hard Skills:
Understanding of Banking products (Required)
AML/KYC/KYB awareness (Required)
Familiar with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) (Preferred)
Data and tech savvy (Preferred)
Soft Skills:
Relationship building (Required)
Communication & influencing (Required)

Salary Range:
£45,008.00 - £67,512.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
