THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
Santander | Treasury Risk and Analytics (TR&A) is looking for a Quantitative Risk Analyst based out of London.
You will be part of Treasury Risk and Analytics (TR&A) who are responsible for the development of risk methodologies used across the wider risk department. This role will sit within Model Development Non-Credit Team and will focus on market risk, counterparty credit risk and valuations related methodologies.
Working closely with the Market Risk, Credit Risk, Product Control and Front Office teams to provide quantitative support and practical solutions in a timely manner
Participating in the ongoing development of various models, including implementation, testing and deployment
Demonstrating an understanding of derivatives across asset classes (Fixed Income, Inflation, FX, Equity etc.), from a theoretical perspective
Performing regular model monitoring and supporting closure of Interval Validation recommendations

Professional Experience:
Excellent technical background and experience in the financial services industry (Required)
Good knowledge of risk management methodologies (e.g. VaR, Risk Capital, Stress Testing), financial derivatives and associated pricing issues (Preferred)
Education:
Degree level education in a quantitative field (Required)
A postgraduate qualification/PhD would be advantageous (Preferred)
Hard Skills:
Great quantitative skills (mathematical & statistical) in modelling and data analysis (Required)
Advanced programming skills in Python (Preferred)
Demonstrable good programming skills in R, QRM or Excel VBA would be advantageous (Preferred)

Salary Range:
£50,590.00 - £75,884.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
