Senior Business Performance Analyst
Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Senior Business Performance Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis across the EMEA region within the Performance Products division. You will work closely with the FP&A Manager, providing support in core finance processes and acting as a key partner to the business. The role offers exposure to end-to-end FP&A activities and cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders. It starts with structured and recurring activities and gradually evolves into a more business-oriented role. Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Business Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the full monthly FP&A cycle, including preparation of reports, variance analysis (actuals vs budget/forecast), and explanation of key drivers
Managing and delivering standard reporting packages and financial schedules for management review
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including collecting, validating, and analyzing inputs from stakeholders
Contributing to month-end close activities from an FP&A perspective, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
Preparing financial materials, insights, and commentary for internal stakeholders and management meetings
Maintaining and improving recurring reports, dashboards, and analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, systems)
Performing ad hoc analysis on costs, pricing, volumes, and business performance trends
Ensuring data consistency across systems and supporting reconciliations and issue resolution
Building strong understanding of business drivers, products, and markets across EMEA
Working closely with commercial, demand planning, and customer service teams to support decision-making
Gradually taking ownership of business partnering activities, including challenging assumptions and providing insights
Experience and Competencies:
We are looking for a finance professional with relevant experience in FP&A or controlling within a manufacturing environment, strong analytical capabilities, and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, audit, or consulting within a manufacturing company (B2B environment)
Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with financial data and models
Experience with financial systems and tools such as SAP, TM1/IBM, and Power BI
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Ability to understand business drivers and translate data into insights
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
Curiosity, proactivity, confidence to challenge assumptions
