

Job Title: Group External Reporting Manager (Sustainability)

This will be a secondment for 6 months

This opportunity offers broad exposure across the business and the chance to work on reporting that is increasingly important to how the organisation communicates performance, progress and priorities, from sustainability to customer messaging.
A bit about the job
As part of the wider Group External reporting team, the Non-Financial Reporting team plays an important role in bringing together information, insight and narrative from across the organisation including a focus on Aviva’s sustainability strategy. The 6 month secondment will involve working across multiple priorities, business partnering stakeholders and helping to deliver high-quality reporting.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety and learning, embraces problem solving, and wants to develop their experience in a team known for high standards and strong delivery. For the right person, they will find the work stimulating, stretching and a fantastic platform to build experience and learning in both sustainability and reporting in a highly visible area, ambitious and collaborative team
Skills and experience we’re looking for
Analytical, proactive and naturally curious, with the ability to break down problems in a practical and thoughtful way, whilst considering the control environment
Strong interpersonal skills, confident working and communicating with people from all areas of the business to build relationships
Experience in reporting, finance, non-financial reporting, or a similarly analytical and stakeholder-focused environment would be beneficial
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment
An interest in sustainability and other ESG areas would be needed, but specific experience is not required
Whilst we expect the offered salary to fall within £42,000-£45,000, any specific offer will be reflective of experience and the market rate for the role.
