

In this role, you will play a key part in developing and executing sales strategies with our Energy Management System (EMS) and digital solutions that enable our customers to improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and optimize their energy usage.
Summary
We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our European Southern & Western sales team in Valmet Automation’s Energy and Process Systems (EPS) Business Unit. Valmet Automation is a leading supplier of automation solutions for customers in the pulp and paper industries, power generation, marine, and process industries. Our solutions are designed to maximize the profitability of our customers' businesses by improving production performance as well as cost, energy, and material efficiency.
In this role, you will drive business growth by managing sales of advanced automation solutions across the region. You will own the full sales cycle - from opportunity identification to deal closure - while executing go‑to‑market strategies tailored to energy and process industry customers.
Your portfolio includes EMS, APC, optimization, and digital solutions. You will define pricing, lead negotiations, and ensure competitive offerings. Working closely with product, marketing, and regional teams, you’ll align strategy with market needs, strengthen value propositions, and support growth across Europe and globally.

The preferred location for this position is France, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain or Portugal. However, we are open to considering placement in other Valmet units within Europe depending on the specific case and requirements.
