The Senior Data Analyst for Patient Experience provides leadership and expertise in collecting, analyzing and reporting quality and performance data from patient survey feedback in service to UAMS Health’s ASPIRE 2033 Strategic Plan. S/He is responsible for all technical administrative duties associated with internal and/or external reporting system and assists the Director of Patient Experience and the Associate Chief Quality Officer for Patient Experience managing the Patient Experience Work Product to achieve institutional goals and objectives.
The Senior Data Analyst must have technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of Experience Survey data and prepare/present data in a manner to assist stakeholders in improving patient Experience and quality of care. Position has responsibilities that include creating reports, building dashboards and troubleshooting all technical reporting system issues and works closely with IT and software provider during system upgrades and address and resolve all server related issues in a timely manner.

Conducts ongoing data analysis and evaluation to identify performance gaps, trends, special cause variation, and potential causal factors.
Utilizes visual graphical tools and data displays to provide interpretation ease and meaningful conclusions and employs more advanced statistical tools and analysis, when appropriate.
Designs and implements formal quality assurance processes to assure data accuracy and develops action plans for any data quality issues.
Develops cross-training and cross-coverage to ensure timely data collection in times of absences or increased volumes.
Assists Director and performs data pulls and data analysis as requested.
Serves as a subject matter expert with regard to elements needed to meet quality reporting measures and metrics.
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting time constraints and expectations.
This position works with the Patient Experience Specialists to ensure proper users’ access, scope, technical support and training and in services to all staff. S/He must remain current and competent in his/her knowledge of the Patient Experience-related state and federal requirements, regulations, and reporting needs. This position reports to the Director of Patient Experience.
