We are seeking a practical Engineering Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a greenfield tea factory in India, covering both:
This is a highly execution-focused role requiring technical judgment, on-site presence, and the ability to enforce standards without direct authority over the construction teams.
On-site Execution & Quality Control
Technical Compliance
Coordination
Reporting
Infrastructure & Utilities
Oversee setup and validation of electrical systems, water supply and drainage, Ventilation / HVAC, waste handling
Ensure systems meet operational and safety requirements
Commissioning & Readiness
Coordinate testing of all systems and equipment
Ensure factory is ready for production start, no critical defects
Support initial ramp-up phase
B-Tech in Electronics/Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Automation
10+ years of experience in industrial/factory projects in building / commissioning a medium sized industrial facility in India
Practical experience with construction projects or industrial facility buildings working on-site
Completion of at least one greenfield industrial / factory project end-to-end
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Solid on-site execution and operational readiness experience in India
Experience ensuring compliance with technical standards
Demonstrated ability to manage external contractors and vendors
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
