Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY: As a Driver Qualifications Associate, you’ll be responsible for both the clerical and reporting functions of our Safety and Compliance teams as well as maintenance of employee files for all of our driver applicants and current drivers. In your role as a Driver Qualifications Associate, you will regularly update driver records, document routine and random drug test results, respond to employee verification requests and manage driver awards. Sensible judgement, confidentiality, excellent time management and communication skills, meticulous data entry skills and the flexibility to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment are key for the Driver Qualifications Associate position. The Driver Qualifications Associate will also coordinate with other key team members to resolve any issues regarding driver qualifications.
Please note this position is on-site at Stevens Transport HQ in Dallas, Tx.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining Driver Qualification files for all driver applicants and current drivers
Running and maintaining current Motor Vehicle Reports
Running and maintaining current licenses
Regularly updating driver records with pertinent documentation such as indexed maintenance, payroll issues and/or corrections, driving violations, annual reviews, etc.
Documenting routine and random drug test results.
Maintaining files for chain of custody forms, positive results, MRO follow up, return to duty and reasonable suspicion
Responding to employment verification requests
Managing driver awards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
Previous Driver Qualification experience preferred
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines
High degree of initiative and independent execution
Extremely organized and attentive to detail
Ability to work with office equipment and computers for the majority of tasks and must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and web-based platforms.

Education:
Bachelor’s/Associate degree preferred.
