

The effective Water Transfer Supervisor leads day-to-day execution within the following system processes: installation, operation, troubleshooting, response and removal. The Supervisor is responsible for daily reporting and administrative tasks associated with the system processes, i.e., leading shift change meetings / JSAs, scheduling assistance, accurate time entries, training, being the on-site, primary point of contact for customers for either day or night shift.
· Operates per Shalestone SPCC policy and in compliance with environmental and customer expectations
· Takes ownership of the safety and performance of the crew from shop-to-shop
· Leads inspection initiatives for PPE, rigging, crew trucks, trailers, equipment, etc.
· Leads daily shift change meetings
· Properly prepares the crew for inclement weather and winter operations
· Operates and troubleshoots field equipment. Trains Transfer Techs and Pump Operators to do the same.
· Identifies talent and develops more Supervisors
· Leads, on-site, critical operations (Dewatering, Pressure Testing, Rig-Up, Start-Up, Shut-Down, Rig-Down)
· Ensure equipment is operated safely and cared for
· Ensure trailers are loaded and transported in compliance with DOT regulations
· Ensure company vehicles are operated safely and are cared for
· Provides team members with clear expectations and holds them accountable
· Identify talent or underperformance and communicate to operations management
· Effectively communicates asset repair, maintenance and performance issues
· Ensure team members clock in and out daily, accurately
· Completes, collects and reviews daily paperwork and turns into operations management
· Supervise water transfer operations per Shalestone expectations and standard operating procedures
· Support projects locally and in outlying basins (travel required unless negotiated otherwise)
· Follows incident and spill reporting procedures
· Responsible for the inventory and organization of trucks, trailers, tools, equipment, Shalestone yard, site locations, etc.
· Ensure team members clock in and out daily, accurately
· Completes required forms in KPA and Samsara
· Supervise on-site sub-contractors – ensure compliance
· Support projects locally and in outlying basins (travel required unless negotiated otherwise)
· Function as primary liaison with company men for shift being supervised
· Prepares and plans for each shift and the needs of these shifts
· Conducts other duties and tasks assigned
Non-Negotiables:
· Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
· Valid driver's license and meets requirements to be insurable in company vehicle
· Willing to travel and supervise both day and night shifts
· Proven experience supervising or managing a crew / multiple crews
· Provide multiple references from previous or current supervisors / managers
Important Considerations:
· Multiple years of water transfer supervisory or management experience
· Prefers to be hands-on.
· You can perform and train - most tasks related to deploying, operating, troubleshooting and rigging down a water system.
