Reports to: Retail Manager and/or Store Manager (in each location) Contract Term: Exact dates TBC - October/November, 2026 - April 2027 Salary: ¥2,200 per hour, starting

The Role

As a Retail Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a retail department within a store. You will oversee a team of employees, manage inventory, and ensure that the store is meeting sales goals. You need to have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of success in a retail environment.

It will be your job to inform and educate our customers on the products we sell and what is suited for them and their needs. Sometimes you will just need to stoke out the customer and chat about your epic day of skiing.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Daily Operations

Oversee the daily operations of the retail department.
Assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.

Staff Management

Lead and motivate a small team of retail assistants.
Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and monitor team performance.
Conduct regular check-ins and performance evaluations.
Provide on-the-job guidance and support to empower your team.
