We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our full-time rehab team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.

Position Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate, treat, and support residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and therapy teams to deliver individualized, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of physician referral
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with physician approval
Provide therapy services in accordance with treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
Maintain accurate clinical documentation (evaluations, progress notes, discharge planning)
Participate in care plan meetings, utilization review, and interdisciplinary conferences
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and techniques
Supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) as applicable
Conduct staff training and in-service education
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
CCC-SLP preferred
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
Knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
