Summary: The WAE Aquatics Supervisor is primarily responsible for the oversight of the Aquatic facilities within the Student Recreation complex, and all activities, events, student personnel, and user participation within those facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
40% - Aquatic Operations
Maintain and communicate all daily chemical, usage, and other records and reports
• Inventory and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Support and assist lifeguard and Aquatic instructor staff
• Act as the lead point of contact for any programs or events held within UREC Aquatic facilities
• Other duties assigned by the supervisory professional staff members at UREC
• Attend all required meetings and trainings
35% - Risk Management
• Ensure proper surveillance and protection standards of facilities are upheld
• Respond appropriately and confidently to any and all first aid or aquatic emergencies
25% - Team Sup Other responsibilities
• Attend Team Supervisor shift meetings.
• Attend Team Supervisor trainings held each semester.
• Communicate needs and expectations for shifts with fellow Team Supervisors.
• Provide Tours, assist with locker needs, and respond to customer concerns.
• Respond to and complete emergency-related paperwork for Accidents, Incidents, and Concussions.
• All other duties as assigned as it relates to the experience of the position
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma

Minimum Certifications/Licenses: American Red Cross: Lifeguard Certification
