Global Master Data Supply Chain Specialist
Location: India (Hyderabad)

We are looking for a Global Master Data Supply Chain Specialist to support the creation, governance, and continuous improvement of supply chain master data across Lonza’s global manufacturing network. This hands‑on role focuses on material master data, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and recipe management within ERP systems.
You will act as a subject matter expert supporting global manufacturing sites, collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensuring data accuracy, process compliance, and operational excellence. The role also supports transition activities, including knowledge transfer and process stabilization within the Global Master Data organization.

What you’ll do
Create and maintain master data objects including material master, BOMs, resources, routings, COA profiles, inspection plans, and recipes in SAP
Manage GMP and non‑GMP material master data and coordinate extension of materials across plants
Analyze BOM data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with operational and financial requirements
Partner with finance, supply chain planning, MRP, MES teams, and global master data teams to ensure correct data integration in SAP systems
Execute mass data uploads using approved tools and ensure data quality standards are met
Support process governance activities, including maintaining and improving work instructions aligned with defined RACI models and SLAs
Monitor approval workflows to ensure compliance with GMP requirements and timely processing of master data requests
Support SAP system changes, including tracking and execution of approved change controls
Contribute to ERP standardization initiatives for BOM and recipe processes in collaboration with global teams
Provide hands‑on support to SAP users, ensuring master data accuracy and consistency
Track master data KPIs and support implementation of corrective actions
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times
Collaborate with Global Supply Chain CoE, project teams, MSAT, purchasing, and other stakeholders to support manufacturing and supply chain activities
Participate in SAP and master data‑related projects, supporting system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Proven experience in Supply Chain master data management within a corporate or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of SAP ERP systems, particularly MM/PP/PM modules
Experience with data governance frameworks and master data management practices
Solid understanding of business processes and cross‑functional integration
