The Department of Engineering and Public Policy (EPP) is a unique department in the College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University which addresses important problems in technology and policy. We educate technically skilled students to be leaders in policy-focused research; we work on policy problems in which the technology matters.
Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of Engineering and Public Policy seeks a Career Counselor to lead the planning, development, and implementation of EPP MS career planning, counseling, and job searches, designed to support students and alumni with their career objectives. Develop and maintain recruiting relationships with corporations and alumni. Monitor, analyze and report on job market conditions to assist in program development. Assist in organizing on-campus and off-campus recruitment efforts. Organize and conduct corporate events, seminars, training programs, attends external webinars and sessions on career planning, and co-leads student social events. Support course work (internship and capstone projects), marketing and communications, alumni relations, prospective student recruiting, identifying corporate partnership opportunities with companies (beyond employment), and admissions.
