
Level 3 IT Solutions Technician Apprenticeship – Wymondham High Academy (Part of Enrich Learning Trust)
Enrich Learning Trust is a collaborative family of schools committed to innovation, high standards, and empowering young people to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. Based at Wymondham High Academy, this role will also support Diss High School and Long Stratton High School, providing a dynamic environment to develop your IT skills across multiple sites.
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join us as an IT Solutions Technician Apprentice, supporting the delivery, maintenance and security of IT systems across the Trust.
Apprenticeship Summary:
• Salary: £15,392 a year (based on £8 per hour)
• Working Week: Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid break daily)
• Hours: 37 hours per week

The Role:
This role involves supporting the IT infrastructure across Enrich Learning Trust, with a focus on maintaining reliable network access, ensuring cybersecurity, and assisting staff and students with IT systems and equipment.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services, responding to helpdesk requests, maintaining hardware and software, and contributing to ongoing IT projects.

Qualifications, Qualities & Experience
• Good general education with GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above), including Maths, English, and IT/Computing
• Interest in IT, networking, and technical support
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organised with good time management skills
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Professional and approachable manner
• Respect for equality, diversity, and inclusion
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Full driving licence (desirable)
Training and Development:
As an apprentice, you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme. This will typically include:
· Study towards a Level 3 IT Solutions Technician qualification
· Hands-on experience supporting IT systems across multiple schools
· Mentoring from experienced IT professionals
· Regular progress reviews and development support
