

The Port Office Hotel is seeking an experienced and driven Venue Manager to lead one of Brisbane’s most iconic inner-city venues.
Located in the heart of the CBD, the Port Office Hotel has been a cornerstone of Brisbane hospitality since 1909. Blending heritage charm with a modern dining and bar experience, the venue features a vibrant Public Bar, an elevated Dining Room, and the Balcony Bar – a light-filled, relaxed cocktail space overlooking the city.
This is a unique opportunity to take the reins of a multifaceted, high-volume venue with a strong reputation for quality food, premium beverages, and outstanding service.
As Venue Manager, you will have full ownership of the day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence across all areas of the business. You will lead from the front, inspire and develop your leadership team, and create a culture that delivers exceptional guest experiences every time.
What's on Offer:
Generous Salary $100,000 - $120,000 + Super
Quarterly KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A

Essential requirements:
3+ years of Venue Management experience
Proven experience managing a large food and beverage-focused venue
Strong experience working
Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team
Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyze where there is an opportunity to grow your business
Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
Write and control an effective roster
Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area
Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
RLMV, Approved Managers License, Gaming Nominee & CLO are a must
